I’ve been working at The Old Pepper Mill for 5 years now. Besides work, I play hockey and study entrepreneurship and retail management. What’s great about my job here is that it’s perfectly compatible with my busy life. I don’t start until 5 PM, so I can study or exercise during the day and still meet up with friends in the evening.

What do I like so much about my work? No two days are the same. One day I’m behind the bar, the next I’m on the floor serving guests. Meanwhile, there’s always time for a chat and a laugh with colleagues. And the best part: the people I work with have truly become close friends of mine.

My experience at The Old Pepper Mill has been fantastic for 6.5 years already. I still enjoy working here every day, partly thanks to the young and fun team. We often hang out for a drink after work, which helps you build a bond with your colleagues quickly.

The work is easy to combine with my studies and sports, like football, padel, and the gym, because I usually work 2 to 3 evenings a week and we can easily swap shifts. The social atmosphere with colleagues and guests makes working at The Old Pepper Mill extra fun for me.
