Since the arrival of the new owners in 2018, The Old Pepper Mill has evolved into an atmospheric restaurant where conviviality, good food, and hospitality take center stage. A place where guests come together to enjoy flavorful dishes, a relaxed atmosphere, and personal attention.
At The Old Pepper Mill, everything revolves around togetherness. The restaurant feels like one big family, where a passion for hospitality and attention to guests go hand in hand. This commitment is reflected everywhere, from the kitchen to the service and behind the scenes, creating the warm, familiar atmosphere the restaurant is known for.
I have been working as a chef at this wonderful hospitality business for almost 26 years. I am proud to have been a part of it for so long. My adventure began in 2000, when it was still called De Pepermolen. In 2004, it was given the name The Old Peppermill, as we know it today.
What makes the chef’s profession so special to me is the combination of creativity and hard work. But just as important is the conviviality: together with colleagues and, of course, with our guests.
My day is only truly successful when every guest leaves The Old Peppermill with a smile.
The spare ribs were truly fantastic, super tender and full of flavor. The steak was also cooked exactly right. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. We will definitely be back.
